Do you agree with who you are walking with? Or the direction you both are going?
Yes, opposites attract. But, if that opposite is bringing out the worse in you, is that something you are in agreement with?
Usually, healthy relationships bring out the best in you. This can be business, religious, personal, etc.
The Bible talks about the importance of not being unequally yoked in relationships. But what does that mean? Because I grew up in the suburbs, there were no oxen or cattle for me to observe. If you have two oxen yolked together plowing a straight line behind them, if one ox is stronger than the other, that line will not be straight. The stronger ox will pull the other ox along the way it wants to go.
The number two can symbolize a union: two becoming one, or a choice of two things: light and dark, happy, sad, life and death.
Domestic violence can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation or religion. Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels. Domestic violence occurs in both opposite-sex and same-sex relationships and can happen to intimate partners who are married, living together, or dating.

I choose life. I choose freedom. I am thankful for the ability to choose. I am thankful that God gave me another chance. I could’ve been choked to death.
