The Virus

Flappers Comedy Club has a 48 Hour Film Festival. They give you the theme on Friday and you turn in the film on Monday. I entered it in October. My theme was “Slasher” film. The whole film is supposed to be 5 minutes long. I was excited because I grew up on Horror movies. Maybe it’s because my birthday is Halloween. So, October 23rd, 2020 I got my theme and got busy.

Unfortunately, my upload times took longer than anticipated which left me no time to edit. I missed the deadline. It broke my heart because the films were going to be shown on my birthday.

God put it in my heart to finish it anyway. Here is the trailer for it. The actual short is soon to come. Since it’s no longer going to be part of the 48 Hour Film Festival, the length will be 8:46 for George Floyd.

On Thursday December 31st, the 6th day of Kwanzaa, I’ll be hosting a Zoom screening of the short film, The Virus.

I love that the 6th day of Kwanzaa is Kuumba (creativity).

The event will be 30 minutes long from 2 – 2:30pm PST.

If you would like to join, here is the link.

Here is the invite for the Third and Final Zoom Screening for The Virus.

Here is the 8:46 version:
